The main weather story this week continues to be coastal flooding, with persistent onshore flow and elevated astronomical tides associated with the upcoming full moon. Outside of our coastal hazards, we’re looking at a mainly dry and seasonable forecast through midweek.Coastal Flooding: Coastal Flood Warnings have been extended through Tuesday and Wednesday for the Atlantic coastal counties, Intracoastal Waterway, and the entire St. Johns River basin. Moderate tidal flooding is expected around high tide, with locally major flooding possible. Water levels could reach 2–3.5 feet above normally dry ground. Flooding of vulnerable roads, low-lying neighborhoods, and riverfront properties will remain a concern through multiple high tide cycles.Winds and Marine Conditions: A tight pressure gradient will maintain gusty northeast winds across the area. A Wind Advisory remains in effect for coastal locations through this evening, with sustained winds of 20–30 mph and gusts reaching 35–45 mph. Ma
