Cheap Trick, Bret Michaels and Marshall Tucker Band to headline 29th annual Thunder by the Bay

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Some legendary names in rock music are headed to the Suncoast as the 29th annual Thunder by the Bay Music and Motors Festival returns to the Sarasota Fairgrounds February 19–21, 2027.The three-day festival will feature Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Cheap Trick, Poison frontman Bret Michaels and the Marshall Tucker Band, along with several other live performances throughout the weekend.Lucy Nicandri, executive director of Suncoast Charities for Children, joined ABC7 to share what’s in store for this year’s festival and how the event continues to make a difference in the community.“We have Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Cheap Trick performing Friday, February 19th, Bret Michaels, the front man for Poison, performing on Saturday the 20th and the Marshall Tucker Band on Sunday the 21st,” Nicandri said. “So we have action packed stage performances the entire weekend and we have a lot of bands that will be performing with them as well.”While the music is
