Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital opened a freestanding emergency department Wednesday in North Lakeland, the hospital announced.The ER is in the Lakeland Park Center shopping plaza at 963 Lakeland Park Center Drive. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.Orlando Health first announced plans for the facility in 2023. Read the original announcement.What services does the North Lakeland ER offer?The emergency department has 18 private treatment rooms, cardiac monitoring, a dedicated resuscitation room and a full-service lab. On-site imaging includes CT scans, ultrasound and X-rays.The hospital said adults who need further care can be transferred to its Lakeland Highlands hospital or Orlando Health’s Level I trauma center in Orlando.
