St. Johns County Fire Rescue is keeping a close watch on rising water levels as heavy rain, strong winds, and approaching king tides create hazardous conditions across the area.Our News4JAX crew was on the scene at Vilano Beach early Wednesday morning, where conditions were already challenging — wind was gusting heavily, and high tide was pushing close to the pier.
