After a very wet start to the month, our pattern has finally changed! High pressure will be overhead today, which means we will see plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures.Highs for the day will be in the low to mid 80s. The humidity will be lower as well thanks to a northwesterly wind. With drier air overhead, we are not expecting any rain or storms today.High pressure will remain overhead for the rest of the week which will keep our area sunny and dry. Highs each day will be in the low to mid 80s.A front will then approach our area this weekend. Right now rain and storm coverage looks to remain isolated with the most widespread coverage to our south. It will turn windy once again during this timeframe behind the front thanks to a nearby area of high pressure. Regarding the drought, the latest drought monitor reflects improvement across our area. Several areas have been downgraded to the lowest category which reflects the significant amount of rainfall we saw over the past week
